Judging 100 point scale.
All cars entered will be judged on the following criteria. Only those who have a car entered will be allowed to vote. Each registrant will receive a vote. So, if you enter more than one car you will get a vote for each car entered. Entrant will not be allowed to vote for their own car – Even if it is the coolest, most advanced, technically incorrect… car.
Each entrant assigns points for three cars in the following way:
30 points for coolness/appearance/looks – totally subjective. (1st place 15 points 2nd 10 points. 3rd 5 points).
30 points on how it competes in a class. (1st place 15 points 2nd 10 points. 3rd 5 points). If it is a class all its own it gets 15 points (builder will likely have to define said class) and the remaining points are not assigned. So, get creative.
30 points based on concepts incorporated. Builder(s) must list. These can either be totally new ideas or ideas that are usually not run together. It will be up to the voter to decide if the idea(s) listed qualify. Most new concepts 15 points. 2nd 10 points. 3rd 5 points.
10 points for finish this is a concept challenge. So, if you see something that you think is finished in a new or different way give it points. Finish includes, but is not limited to: materials used, shape, weight distribution, where things were installed, how things were installed, technique used to build, number of different materials used to make a quality build. 1st – 5 points. 2nd – 3 points. 3rd – 2 points.
Car/Entrant(s) with most combined points wins.
