coffinnailracing: If you want to run 4.5oz and three wheels - fine. If you add the forth wheel you will be closer to 5 ox and more likely to fit in a league class. It's up to you.

I was just making a joke about running a solid block of tungsten on four wheel for a "Stunt Car" Class ... I wasn't clear enough, my bad

Unfortunately, coffinnailracing that would not be a new concept. Someone ran a car like that. I think it was called "The Block". You could probably search it. It was way heavier than the Concept Class would allow.
So, how is the dragster coming along? Let's put on a show! A drag race!!

I need to get a couple of wood pieces that Michaels didn't have, then I need to dig around to figure out the front axle

Hobby Loby has a wood bin that Michaels does not. Hobby Town has more than that. And,I have found thatidependent Hardware stores not only have a decent supply - they sometimes have really cool old school guys with helpful ideas. The later two also have a bin with bifferent kinds of metal rods.
Depending on what you want to do. You might also want to look at a Pinecar solid axle. They come in the kit with the block (best deal). Or, you can puy a package of two for a little less.

Yes, I was thinking maybe a PineCar axle (I have one or two someplace) or rod depending on what fits the razor wheels better.

Had a couple more ideas for Concept Cars, but for now I'll stick the Dragster as I think it will cost the least to attempt to build.

And, you are guaranteed a head to head race.
Highly unlikely that will happen again anytime soon.
If a drag race between two PWD dragsters doesn't get watchers, nothing will.

Well at least now I know how people know to jump on and respond. But,I'm not sure I like all the notifications. I'm going to at least see if there is a way to turn off the ding or I will be in trouble when I'm in quiet places.

Hi gang, I'm trying to understand stand a couple of things about "bearing" car/wheel set ups.
I assume the axle has a "step" on it to limit how far it goes onto the axle, but I haven't seen what keeps the wheel on the axle ... some kind of cap or set screw collar?
On a bearing Axle , my thinking is the "cant" would be bent just a bit behind the bearing stop "step" on the axle.
Seeking info on this for the Dragster Concept and another design I have in mind, both require bearing axles
