I literally did not touch the wheels before 11 PM last night, so the prep job is...slapdash to say the least. At a minimum, I have three sets of wheels to reprep (and add washers to — stupid reverse cut). And it can all go uphill from there. SR underfenders on up to the whole new BASX mobile. You drop-shipping the Bay-6 car from MA to Joel, K? That may determine the level of midnight oil I apply to my fleet...

Finally saw the pic of your car, Kurt. Purty. And the naming is brilliant!  The only guilt and cajoling is from myself, and my (mental) promises. I really wanted to send in and support the MAs, especially with the utter lack of support I was seeing at MNOP and PDO. Now, I just need to make sure I know the rule sets for BS and Base 6... |

I got 4 "pro cars" done and my kids open oil. The MA wheels I have are crap. I didn't see any gain in speed from NSC wheels. My FUN and unlimited should be decent. My SS, BASX and kids car will suck. I cut my own FUN wheels and couldn't find the axles so needed to make some new ones last minute...after of course I found the other ones. Thanks to my helper who is bring the cars live to the event! I haven't raced in FUN yet, but the times seem to be similar to a SS. The times I got were similar to what I would like to get for a decent SS. My unlimited is named pine and that is all that you can see..however it is actually basswood. Things were slapped together, but at least I should have a few cars in the mix.

Yes, I am done for awhile. Thank God I have an air compressor at work or it would not have happened. I thought my deadline was today, but I guess I my helper was going to be in on WED. I didn't have more open days anyway so I needed to get it done today.

I think that I finally got a good prep though!
