Nice shape on those front fenders, Joe. Homey approves!

Good to see you over here Crash! Ya know.... you too Chuy. OK... middle fenders ended up a little tight for my taste, but I was able to sand them back enough to work... gunna adjust the Shapeways file though. Metal fender could probably get a touch closer to the wheel... might just leave it as is for sloppy builders. Gunna work on the shields and take care of the graphics next.

Ok, it's on like Donkey Kong. My buddy has agreed to print some out in tungsten for us.

Chuy Please add the insert and or the full width up to the rear axle spar.
The wheel weights and pics I sent you of additional weight areas would likely put over the limit. But putting one original style on the dominant side would likely be just right.

Ok, it's on like Donkey Kong. My buddy has agreed to print some out in tungsten for us. If that rear fender is made of tungsten, I'm afraid that it would both put too much weight behind the rear axle and force you to move some weight forward, spreading out the mass... Which, I'm pretty sure, would have a detrimental effect through the transition.

Parts arrived from Shapeways yesterday. They look great. Had a momentary "awww shit" moment when I opened the box and saw the front fenders were touching each other. No worries, the attaching spar is that flexible. Trailing fender looks great.
Also got my PI box with some cub weights and other goodies. Thank you very much Joe.
Once I get started I will set up a build thread.

Frank... the front end is pretty tight to the rail... probably has about .03” of clearance or less with stock wheels. Biggest PITA with this car is dealing with those damn set screws. I Bought 0-80 X3/16” and 3/16” is a bit too long... closer to 1/8” is good for the rear and a little less for the front. I should name this car “Delayed Satisfaction” because I did so much work on it before drilling the axle holes... stiffened it up... sunk the nuts and glued inserts first...

I figure we have 5g or so before we start really pushing the envelope.

Wow! I am glad I got mine when I did. The new pricing is a lot rich for me - LOL.
If I haven't said Thank's Joe recently then let me just say
Thank you for doing what you do when it comes to design and making parts avail. Without your work I wouldn't be able to take those parts and continue forward with my ideas.

Haha! Yeah... I figured that I would jack up the super experimental stuff to $500 until I could make some tweaks.
Thanks for your appreciation and support, pal.
