You unlock this door with the key of imagination. Beyond it is another dimension—a dimension of sound, a dimension of sight, a dimension of mind. You're moving into a land of both shadow and substance, of things and ideas. That's the signpost up ahead—your next stop, the Pinewood Illuminati.

Breathe deep the gathering gloom Watch lights fade from every room Pacesetter people look back and lament Another day's useless energy is spent Impassioned builders wrestle with one; Lonely man cries for time and has none New brother bucks up and wishes he'd won Senior citizens wish they had run
Cold-hearted orb that rules the night Removes the colors from our sight Red is grey is yellow white But we decide which is right And which is an illusion

What is a fast time for a 42’ track?
The Pinewood Illuminati intends to answer this age old question.
Join us as we pull the curtain back and shine light on the PWD.
We will use the most sophisticated tools available to the aerospace industry to break down the mysteries of gravity, conservation of energy, concentricitty, and even the Bernoulli Principle! The PWD is a vehicle to this end.
The first ever database of PWD speed is now being created.
Step forward and be counted.

The Pinewood Illuminati needs your help for this vital research. At our state of the art testing facility outside of Los Alamos... our dedicated team of skilled technicians at the PWD Bureau of Standards will put your car through its paces.
We are seeking cars that can fit into every rule set for these speed trials.
The PI will gladly send you a free shipping box for you to pack your car into.
Just drop it into the mail along with the $13 shipping costs which have already been paid for the round trip back to you.
In return for your participation in this research, we will provide the owner of each car with a free PWD car body that has been created using the space age technology available to us.
We will test for speed on the track and aerodynamic drag as well as a myriad of other tests... and return your car to you with speed tips and your new car body!
That’s it! No tricks... no gimmicks!
Also...If your car is deemed fastest for a rule set by our speed team... you will be awarded with the honors posted on our International website.

I want a Stanley Cup of sorts. Something that chronicles records by the year and type.

Always the voice of reason eh Eagle? OK... I sorta liked New World Order of PWD Racing League... but figured it was a little long. So... I have to admit that I am not fully sold on the shortened version since it seems a little vague... I still like the NWO feel of things though... We should probably toss some ideas in here and see what the others think. Gotta admit that the ones you just floated seem a little tame to me (Proving Grounds could probably work for the name of the headquarters though) We can take the top choices and have a poll... if it really doesn’t work out... then we can burn that bridge when we come to it. it would be extra special if our acronym could be MNOP. MNOP Most Noble Order of the Pine

What this is awesome! What is the send in process purpose... to assimilate derby tech? And pay them with a body? They pay the shipping or PI? How is the information maintained car by car? Is there a typical form where every aspect of the build is recordrd? I do so ething like that attempting to create a base line for tuning my scout sleeper outlaw cars.... what are we trying to do in this process? NWO ....build better, build faster, build utilizing new materials, wind tunnel aerodynamics, race cross weight ratios? What is the end game....I wanna play
