Update: I was looking for something else and found that I kinda sorta missed the correct name for Zeeb's race. It's the Soulboxer Invitational. Man. I wasn't even close.

Our MA cars are well represented by this site. Both cars were drilled on one of Micro’s drill jigs, the scout car is sporting Laserman’s Mr. B Fenders and my son’s kids open oil car has a set of Puma Wheel weights in a Laserman routed body he gave me. Both cars were shipped in Laserman Gription 2 shipping boxes.

I wish you the best of luck pal. it will be interesting to watch... I betcha that the top “pros” will fear this class without their antique wheels advantage over the average Joe. God Bless Greg Dawes!

God Bless Greg Dawes! Yes, it will be interesting to see how many "pros" run in a class they have no real advantage in. It looks like Joel has a couple cars ready for MA, gotta give him credit for stepping up. I think the top guys would probably still win, but by how much is what interests me.

Joel is good egg... and he has balls... that is why he will be sending into MA.
Now... you take fellas like Hurricrane or Mojo and I can all but guarantee those nutless big talkers won’t be racing there.
They don’t have a sack between them!

Yes, Joel posted several pics of his build, and wasn't afraid to show all sides of his car....good for him, most would never do that.
Hurricane posted over on PDO that he was bringing 19 cars with him to Nationals....maybe he is nutting up and running some of them in the MA adult open oil class.
Of course anyone actually attending MA can apply their D1 Saturday morning before the race, so I don't expect many proxy cars to make the finals.

Yes, TheFonze I have sent cars to MA. They should arrive tomorrow. Tuesday at the latest. It is my first time racing proxy, running anything larger than district, etc. It is really only mine and my daughters fourth race. I got a lot of encouragement and inspiration here on this forum. With a little help here from the TEAM I might actually get one more car off tomorrow. I have built a tribute car to my uncle recently passed and my father who died in 1995. It is titled Live Life and although a rush job it is a show stopper. I may not be able to pass the no wet paint rule, but it would mean a lot to members of my family to see it on the track, announced, etc. I really appreciate what Greg Dawes has built. I think we should all pitch in and buy he and his wife a nice dinner somewhere there in Omaha. He is the nicest guy I have talked to in PWD (although Chuy is right there with him). He is a great people person. And, he obviously has a passion for PWD. Not only would I love to attend MA some year(s) in the future, I would love to build a West America and see Joe or someone do an East America. Gotta get back to work! Didn't want you to think I was ignoring you or the question. And, if you are able to find out what class Zeeb is running other than Unlimited please let me know ASAP!

Brian posted elsewhere that he was sending/bringing 19 cars. Some MA and some pro. Alert the media! Hurricrane actually grew a pair! He didn't really....he has the in-person D1 advantage at both MA and Nationals. He can actually apply his D1 two hours before the MA race begins....I mean what chance does a proxy racer have who has already sent their car in, or is doing so tomorrow ? A good proxy racer might beat an average in-person attendee, but you're going to be hard pressed to beat HurriCrane in-person. Since he will be attending, he can also apply his D1 at 6pm the night before the National race , which starts at 9am the next morning. Once again an advantage over anyone who will be sending their car in. If JBD and DWS are attending it's anyone's guess who will win, if they are going proxy, I give the edge to HurriCrane, with 19 cars and in-person...how does he not win?
