It is, I believe, the best of the leagues. NPWDRL.boards.net is their forum. You'll see other leagues (APR, whatever John (DerbyDad4Hire) is calling his league), and also some stand-alone races like the upcoming Mid-America race or ZeebZob's own, um, dang, I've forgotten the name. Ballwasher Classic? Doorknob? Bedpost? Cheesehead? Something Classic. Crash thanks for all of the great info. I checked out NPWDRL and it looks legit! I plan on sending into the May race. Should I build for all of the divisions or is there a division that you recommend I start with?

Your participation is limited only by your time and money. Me, I'm cheap and I love the Street Rod class (model car bodies on PWD chassis). So I've participated in the Box Stock and the SR classes. BASX is said to be a great starting off point, as there you learn to do the prep work. But I've long balked at that as I didn't want to invest the monies to get 2.4g wheels.
Zeeb is a big proponent of the Unlimited class, as he likes the lack of prep work involved in bearings. Skippy Kicky is fast there, and has also had some screaming fast SRs. Mr. B has been really competitive in BASX and/or Street Stock. Chuy is on the forefront of all things physics. I expect to see big things from him soon.
So fellas here have info to share.
Just find a class that looks interesting to you, and go with it. We'll help where we can.

How can I get in contact with Mr. B for advise? Also, about that Alphonso guy I saw that he beat Laserman eh?

mrb comes around here periodically. You may catch him at Nipwordle or PDO (pinewoodderbyonline.com — John's (DerbyDad4Hire) forum). Peluso is persona non grata here. I think he hangs out at one or both of the above sites.

Maybe I'll be the first Canadian competitor in the Pro circuit eh.

Okay. Shoot for the first one not in last place. Are you using BSA kits/wheels? That's typically a foundational rule at the MAs. Post pics here, too.

we were planing on sending in 4 cars. I spent the week in the hospital and so no time to work on anything and in the shape I'm in am not able to work on anything. So we are out this year which is our last year anyway as my youngest is a Webelo II.

TheFonze: The better question is what classes is ZeebZob running at MA.
