Is there any interest in 1/4" x 1/2" x 1.5" tungsten weights? I was thinking of having a small batch made. I am getting quotes but I expect them to be about $6-$10 for 4oz.

you mean $6-10 per ounce for 4 oz, right? Are they sintered or solid? Can they make them 1/4 x 1/2 x 1.75?

Yes, these are custom pieces so they can make them any size we want. I'm getting these made in China where I've gotten K10 grade tungsten for about $65/kg. It would actually be 3.75 oz for $6-$10 or $1.6-$2.6/oz. I'm still waiting on quotes though.
If it is just tungsten, two of those would weigh 4.88 oz or 138 grams. Don't you think that is too heavy?? I'm getting a price on straight tungsten also.

Here are two quick ideas... Drawing these tungsten shapes reminds me of the technical drawings from Hudsucker Proxy.

Pythagoras! The guy that loved triangles!
Hudsucker Proxy! He invented the hula hoop! A non distinctive technical drawing!

So the the 1 1/2" x 1/2" x 1/4" blocks are $6.25 but shipping is another $6 FedEx from China.
