Since Joe mentioned it here, I figured I'd better go ahead and post the car here, too (also on MNOP) How about a two-wheeled class that runs down the Center Lane trough of each lane could be interesting. Stop section would still be a problem but it would be fun to see. I made an outlaw car that ran its front wheels in the center channel. In the first part of this video, you can see two problems inherent in running in the channel: 1) at the start, my car ran the risk of getting held up a little in the slot the pins fall into (I'm uncertain if this had an effect or not). 2) One of the sensor holes at the end of the track made my car jump hard. TLU Outlaw Race 2016 videoAs I recall it, my outlaw car, the Buzzsaw, weighed 7.5 oz.. My son's car weighed 14oz. After that first run, it set or beat the track record the next three runs. However, that first run was botched enough that my son took the win.

Are those MV wheels? I always wanted to try MV wheels. BSB was playing with them for a bit.

They are. Straight stock kit wheels — they're req'd for the race I run for our church and Trail Life troops.
They're good quality. Lighter than BSA wheels. And I don't see the issues that the BSA wheels have out of the box. I'm not qualified to compare speeds between the two.

Definitely outside the box pal!
Very cool!
I betcha that could be a rail runner if you reversed the front wheel!

It *is* a rail runner. Front wheel is on neg. cant and steers left.

Hi Eric,
Oh... Right! Nice!!
Where is the video?
Didn't you post a video on another forum?
I thought about it after I typed the railrunner post...
If it was on a BestTrack then it could get a little dicey... since it has that round extrusion inside the rails?
I am beginning to get a feel for your style... good stuff.
Titileist against Buzzsaw was the clincher.

Titileist against Buzzsaw was the clincher. See first post. TLU Vid on FB The only problems I noticed with the car running was the holes as mentioned, and when it hit the stop section — the front wheels would be rolling on top of the stop. With a really mild steer, there shouldn't be any problems in running inside the rails. It was a one-off itch that I wanted to scratch.
