You know that I'm a disciple of the Street Rod. Why does SR need a bearing class, though? Seems like there's enough opportunities for folks to get their bearings jollies without needing to water down an already small class. Valid question, but it's fun ...
Besides, some people will just swap out axles and wheels, reset weight, and they have converted from SR to SR Pro. A different car is not required.
And YES Eric, I know that you are a disciple !

I'm honestly not sure. I think that they are running it as one class -- but every other month the bearings are illegal.

The SR Pro (running every 3rd month it seems) has so far been just for sport. By that I mean that at Nationals, and I suspect at MOTM, it's the regular SR (oil lube) cars running. It does earn qualifying points though. So 'you have to wanna' run this way and be willing to fork over the money to do it, even if there is no trophy or recognition.
