"KISS". Chya. Is the intent to put tungsten cubes into your lucite back end? Is the lucite back end intended to be reused? Are you removing the tab on the top to clean up the airflow? Are you skinning it, or running it such that the laserman woodwork is visible? And, finally, *where* are you (is it) off to? Hi Eric, I think that the photos should answer most of your questions.... but if not lemme know. Btw... Lucite is a brand name. I work with acrylic sheet.

That's looking really nice! Bring a sharpie and let the kid color the fenders a little more.
The skin looks nice!

Holy 💩! I made the train by the skin of my teeth. i don't recall ever being this light on the front wheel before. I wonder if that may be a problem.

Also the first time that I left the right rear heavier than the left. She must have a pretty agrssive COM.
Next car will be more thought out.

You should be good on the front with that weight.

Years from now... Pack 54 will still recall the day that a member of the Pinewood Illuminati rolled into their town.

We all had fun. Our car was a clear standout, winning most heats by a few car lengths. The crash-house stop section took its toll though... and by the last heat it clearly lost a step or two.

Wow, what a track. You should have packed yours and brought it along on the train. Congratulations!
The stop section is the icing on the cake!

Awesome looking build, Joe!
I also love when you do these little pictorials. Particularly drooling over that little tungsten stash.

Awesome looking build, Joe! I also love when you do these little pictorials. Particularly drooling over that little tungsten stash. Thanks pal... That stash is a drop in the bucket though. I have accumulated so many tungsten shapes over the past 5 years..it was mainly the small stuff that I was interested in. There is this one piece of recently aquired tungsten that holds a special place though. I think that it will be making an appearance on this forum in July... That is when I have time to build another car. It was so fun to make a car again after my fast...even if it fell along familiar lines.
