Well... This will be my entry to the second ever West Coast Grand Prix. I have not come up with a name for her yet... Probably something to emphasize that it is a plastic rather than wood car...

Yeah... I saw that. Had someone print some shields for me from 3D print Hub years ago. Seemed almost like MDF.

If someone has had luck with wood filament I would like to know which. To me it is just ugly poor quality PLA. What is wood about it - the color?

Looking forward to seeing car in person. If I'm lucky I'll have time to checkout the upgrades to the earlier version.
Hope my eyeball engineered car has a chance against your lightweight beauty.
Not sure what angle you are going for with a name. Here are some ideas: Ready for Action Beyond the Curve Precision Plastic Lady Luck I'm Back Full Figured AP Wishes Endless Possibilities Pinky

Hey, on the 3D printed front.
Who is holding the keys to the Mr. B scout fender sets ? I did not see them on Shapewys last time I looked.
Thanks Jupiter

Thanks, Those aren't what I'm looking for. The Scout wheel base is 4 3/8" not 5". & the front fenders are extra long so you can move the scout slots further back.
Haha, I just don't want to build another set of front fenders.

No problem. Yes they come in different wheelbases - thank goodness.
I'm working on Joe to get them for smaller OD wheels.
For Scout races Joe's stuff is the bomb.
You had cars at MA right?
I saw a large box with Jupiter on it.

Yep, Jupiter, Blake, David that was us. I put the sticker on the side so they can see which one to damage first. You know, save me the headaches.
