This will be our first year using light wheels and SS axles.
I have our prep down for BSA stock axles and wheels, but wanted to get a better idea of how you guys prep your machined wheels and axles.
What grit do you start with for SS axles and how high do you go?
What prep do you do on your machined wheels? Do you sand or polish the tread?
How does the prep process differ for oil? We are running graphite for our local races, but might want to covert over to oil for some proxy races like the WCGP or MA.
