I’m doing my part to spread the word. We gotta get those fuckers at NPWDRL on board... to add a category on their forum.

Any chance that Greg would list it as a “warm up” event on the Mid America page?

As I was leaving school today I was yold I had a shipment. UPS tracking says four packages were delivered. So, it looks like the core track components have reached the facility hosting www.TheWestCoastGrandPrix.com so, soon the fun of assembling, polishing, etc. All tips and maybe tools to best get this setup above standard appreciated.

Doug , if it's a Best Track, make sure you put the pins in the proper end of each track section. I'm referencing the metal dowel pins that connect each section of track. I can't remember if they mount in the end closest to the timer, or the end closest to the start gate, but it does make a difference.

Ember I would love a thread that gives all the do's don'ts and improvements to make this Best Track the ultimate surface and setup that can be put up, taken down, and reset up for consistent Great results. The last thing I want is for someone to say that WCGP has a less than great track to run on.
I'm guessing the guys that do that are just doing it to scare others away. But, I want to know I've done all that I can do to be prepared.

Who is going to race for the chance to get their name on this beautiful perpetual trophy? There is nothing else like it in all of PInewood Derby world. The almost completed custom, division specific, trophies are super cool as well.

Nice work Doug. The translation was difficult to follow, but you handled the interview very well.
