I had so much fun building that Scout Car on Friday... I began a new car today. this one will be a wind tunnel test car. I would like to make a clear track to go along with a clear body. This may allow the smoke to be visible between the car and track from above or below. The acrylic will need to be buffed back to clear, and I will use polycarbonate to cover the voids.  |

I would shave off enough weight to get it down to 10 grams if you can. It's gorgeous.

Beautiful work, It looks like it was carved from a piece of ice...it's dare I say..... "cool".
It would be awesome with some LED lighting. !

So, the bottom is clear. I'll take a picture later today. It is the aluminum track sections that cover it up.

I just started building it with all the pockets milled out just to see if I could do it... But it will be clearer next time when I plan on making it as invisible as Wonder Woman’s jet.   |
