Chuy, It is machined from 1 block of basswood.
I brushed on a thin layer of thin CA glue. That is what darkened it like oil.
I wanted to give it a really glossy finish with some Krylon clear gloss but can’t seem to get paint to dry lately... no matter how thin I mist it on.

Since you said something about the front wheel, I'll ask. What is with three built in shields and one clear wind deflector? I had all four wind deflectors machined but cut one off so I could easily install a Cub Weight. I could’ve added wood back on top but just took the easy path and glued a clear one on there since I have hundreds of them. |

Or you could have just cut the bottom of the wooden shield off. But, yes, it does make the Cub installation much more difficult to install.
So, I guess that means there is no Cub on the left side. But, you know the crazy judges are gonna think you only show one wheel interior because it is the only legit one...
