Ok fellas... Feast your eyes on this! This idea was first introduced in a crude form by a thread that Chuy started speaking of F1 fenders. We chatted a bit about it and he gave some clues on how to visualize new shapes for fenders with some drawings. but I struggled to find the geometry to make it work... Then Crashenburn further pushed me to work on the idea... but his geometry was also not worked out... I struggled to take a razors edge and split the air only to the sides... and came up with this. It may may be ready for testing.

I like where you are going with this. I think you should go similar in the rear. And, maybe go to a shorter wheelbase to get more of the effect in the front.
Whatever you do, I think you are going to like my concept "Stakes R High".

Thanks for the additional pics. Not sure what is up with the blue pic, but these are far superior.
Interesting that the LF wheel lettering is backwards.
Still thinking the car would look better and perform better if the rear fenders were shaped more like the fronts(up over, around, and down low).

And people though I was crazy when I suggested knife edging front fenders π€ I still don't understand why all front fenders seem to have a angled leading bottom, can it not be dropped to the track for some reason?

Stay tuned Coffinnail. While Stakes R High doesn't go all the way down it certainly goes further than this design. I think the answer to your question has something to do with how far out in front of the wheel the fender goes. Without a video or flash photography at the base of the curve I don't have the CHEARS to trust that I could go all the way down without hitting (especially on a Scout track).

I'm seeing some crossover paint scheme potential with that side profile on the front fender...

On a Scout track you'll be lucky it it doesn't shake them off completely, if the track is anything like the first wood track I ran on.
