Hey there, Looking good. Interesting about the dead spot on the front wheel. Things to take into consideration: 1. The Front of the car will be narrowed so that the DFW is contacting the rail while the rear's are centered as the car is going down the track. 2. The wheelbase looks too long in the model. Most are between 4.5"-5" in front of the rear wheels. 3. I see the Toe on the DFW, but not the negative cant. 4. The front of the car would be tapered to a smaller point not kept at the .25"thick. The Positive cant on the rear's looks good! I just had an aerospace guy in. He was saying it is hard to get accurate computer models for Drag. He works with airplanes and said that calculating lift works well, but difficult with drag. Do you have thoughts on that? I have no idea...this is all out of my league. 1. I will narrow the front end so the DFW is touching the rail. 2. The wheelbase is 4.375" 3. I will add the negative cant 4. I will taper the front edge. I will add that the aerospace industry tends to follow Formula One racing. I always thought that was backward but it is what it is. Formula One relies on computer modeling predominantly. The beauty of this, is when the second wind tunnel is done, we will be able to compare. I didn't post the numbes, but that particular model was seeing 20.3 grams of drag force at 15 ft/s.

Interesting on the Drag! From the diagrams it sure doesn't look like the right wheelbase for some reason. That car is 7" long and the rears are at 5/8th's from the back...strange. How much more drag is there when the NDFW is added?

Chuy,
First off... great work!
Micro reversed the cants, as I am sure you are aware. Not sure why he mixes those two terms.
This looks like a moving color test.... I can hardly imagine something more frustrating to try to understand.
For the color ignorant fellas in the group... can you slow down the dots or let it play longer?
Micro is right... something is off on the wheel base... the front wheel axle hole wants to be around 1.625" from the front of the 7" car.
From the second photo that you recently posted, it looks like the dots go from the outer edge of the front wheel and make a bee-line for the axle hole on the rear wheel...
Am I seeing that right?
Thanks, Joe

Did you just write "plaque me"? LOL!
Is that when someone hits you over the head with an award? Sort of like getting "glassed"?
You are one of a kind, pal.

Joe, on YouTube if you right click on the replay button after a video ends (bottom left corner, looks like an arrow bent into a circle)you have an option to loop the video, then left click on the settings button (looks like a gear) there's an option to slow the playback speed.

Thanks, that was on my list of things to figure out. I know that Skywalker had mentioned something before too.
