I betcha that it can get even shorter... Hey Andy! The Zeebzob Firstly... Congrats on recently reclaiming your standing as the fastest man on 3 wheels... Now then... Your fans want to know... What is the timetable for a 4.375" wheelbase unlimited rolling down the track? I don't know. I never measure wheelbase. I just put the front axle where I think it will look good on the car.

Looking good Mr. B!
Thanks for posting the build process.
If anyone could post a build of an Unlimited car then I think that would really go a long way towards demystifying that class.

Looking good Mr B. Thanks for sharing!
I am in the process of building an Unlimited. It is a very slow process because I haven't had a lot of time to work on it. Not sure how much help it would be to others since this is my first bearing car build but I would be willing to share the build.

FWU build is updated. The bearings are in the wheels!

Interesting that the bearing tool worked for the FWU. I would have thought that a washer would have been needed at the bottom. I guess I was wrong.

If the inner hub was 1/16th longer the jig would have worked perfectly. There was a slight gap between the bearing flange and the inner hub. That is why I had to turn the wheel over to make sure that the inner bearing was fully seated. I am in the process of looking for a spacer as you suggested.
