Pretty cool, Joe. But might I suggest the "Super Sheilds Plus" (or perhaps "Super Duper Shields")? Shape the parts that mount to the body with an aero leading/trailing edge. <=i i=> <-- Rather horrible ASCII representation. Are these intended to carry weights, or purely aero?

I intended these for SS because I hardly think of another class... with fenders on the car I believe they work better the way I have them... maybe be I will point the super dupers like I used to make the shields <o> so they will be good for BASX. Thanks for the suggestion.

I thought you can't use anything in the wheel cavity area in BASX? So you mean Box Stock? If so those can have fenders too?

Joe - you're right. I'm thinking of the pieces individually, w/o thinking of the whole car.
Back to the question I had, though: It looks like you've created a hollow to hold Cubby weights in these. Is that the case? Or would these be instead of the wheel weights (wheel weights providing their own aero)?
Someone with more guilt-free time on their hands, please put together a chart showing what is allowed or disallowed in the various classes — most specifically BS and BASX.

Thanks, SW. I remember that. But I am specifically interested in BS/BASX. Wheel weights allowed? Wheel shields (fairings)? Anything between the hub and the body?

Thanks, SW. I remember that. But I am specifically interested in BS/BASX. Wheel weights allowed? Wheel shields (fairings)? Anything between the hub and the body? The BS rules on wheel weights/shields get fiddly. The wheel needs to be able to touch the actual side of the car. That means no friction washers, no slide guides and no air dams that act as a washer. You can, however, use any kind of aero improvement that doesn't violate this. So air dams or weights that affix to the side of the car without impeding the inner hub from touching the body are okay. So cub weights or fender washers are in the clear.

Those charts are a huge help, there was one for the wheels that are allowed in each class also.
For a guy like me that is great because it is everything you need to know at a glance

These are allowed in box stock right?

These are allowed in box stock right? I would say yes.

These are allowed in box stock right? I would say yes. Yeah they look like they'd be good..ordered them any way. On a side note micro, that 5th bushing on your jig is pretty cool. I'm getting 2"-6" of steer over 4' depending on tune. I'll still bend my axle for league, but it's perfect for scouts and not bending axle.
