I think it was the Dirt Track Racer...
But I don’t consider 1.5hrs. as “local”.

Joe that is with traffic at rush hour.
You never want to get any type of It's just down the street, just across the town,... from anyone in LA area unless you understand it is way further than you think.
I smiled the other day when someone from the midwest said it is just a couple hours away. They are used to it.

Okay Eagle! I know you've have been chomping at the bit to see pic's of the 1953 Ace Products Jaguar Xk 120 Kit 25 R Iv tried every thing i can think of to do to get the pics to show up right from my phone to the computer, to the Mir re-sizer to 640 x 640 and on here up right! The problem is when i up load them here.. because some of the pic will turn and some don't after they have up loaded in attachments here. Any how click on pics them to see them up right.. Eagle there is no scale size given on the plans.. just authentic scale on the side of the box. I found and picked up one of the 1953 F-B kits that you well telling me about to take a look at .. just for your curiosity in balsa kits fender type differences. The ACE kit has clear plastic head lights.. silver plastic is used for the grill and steering wheel. These will be seen in the last pic by the Bakelite wheels. Some small parts in the bag are the hub caps and screws.. Some one has started building the kit but did not finish it on the car body! Anyway hope you have enjoyed taking a look at some vintage ACE Products balsa model car kits. And to where the wheels could have came from for making the 1953 Pinewood Derby Cars. whodathunkit I had the same issues with photos early on. I think it may be as simple as holding your phone in "landscape" orientation when taking the photos. On my iPhone if I hold it landscape with the button to the right, they seem to work "normally".

Those are some sweet cars. Very cool to see something like that Thank's Chuy.. I'm glad you enjoyed seeing some of the vintage Ace balsa model car kits & to where my thoughts took me to where I think the first pinewood derby cars wheels could have came from. Sorry my pic's where missed up however! Thank's to Sugar Creek and his help the with problems i was having with the images turning.. i now know why they were! because i would take some with my i phone up right and those would show up side ways. And the ones I'd take in the landscape mode would show up ok on here. I just started using my I phone for taking pic's with ... since my old digital camera crashed some time back. Id try tuning them on my phone and then on the computer every thing there was okay.. but not so good on attaching and posting them here. Still have that 1953 F-B XK120 Jaguar kit to check out when i get.. For Eagle to see as well!

Chuy.
I live out in the the country in the Okla Panhandle in Beaver county .. Forgan Okla Rt address. I'm closer to the KS state line and 20 min from Liberal Ks. So the closest Hobby Lobby stores to me are in Dodge City Ks or in Garden City Ks. From Liberal ks to Dodge City Ks it's 1 hr 23 min 81.9 miles. From Liberal to Garden City it's 1 hr 17 min 73.8 miles.
There is more shopping center's in Garden City Ks like a Home Depot, Menards and a Harbor freight.. plus the wife's favorite store's so we go to Garden City!
If i go the Texas route the closest Hobby lobby is in Pampa Texas 1 hr 52 min (109.7 miles)
