I really appreciate what Greg Dawes has built. I think we should all pitch in and buy he and his wife a nice dinner somewhere there in Omaha. He is the nicest guy I have talked to in PWD (although Chuy is right there with him). He is a great people person. And, he obviously has a passion for PWD. And, if you are able to find out what class Zeeb is running other than Unlimited please let me know ASAP! If everyone gets together to get Greg a token of appreciation, let me know...I'm in. It's highly unlikely Zeeb will be running in anything that doesn't have bearings and razor wheels, as that seems to be his forte.

Alert the media! Hurricrane actually grew a pair! He didn't really....he has the in-person D1 advantage at both MA and Nationals. He can actually apply his D1 two hours before the MA race begins....I mean what chance does a proxy racer have who has already sent their car in, or is doing so tomorrow ? A good proxy racer might beat an average in-person attendee, but you're going to be hard pressed to beat HurriCrane in-person. Since he will be attending, he can also apply his D1 at 6pm the night before the National race , which starts at 9am the next morning. Once again an advantage over anyone who will be sending their car in. If JBD and DWS are attending it's anyone's guess who will win, if they are going proxy, I give the edge to HurriCrane, with 19 cars and in-person...how does he not win? Nah... Hurricrane is a sporting fella... I betcha he would drop in oil for JBD and DWS if they cannot be there. My money is on DWS.

Its an excuse in a bottle. It's a funny thing...it's an "excuse" nearly every top racer is using... they won't sell it, part with it, or even talk about how fast it is...so you be the judge. A quote from Skippy Kicky....a top pro and one of the most honest guys in all of Pinewood, "I’ ve ran D1 at one race on a street pro. It is super fast. At the time I decided it was not fair that I run it, so went back to krytox. Guys have figured out how to use it proxy now, so big props to them for sure". .. so again, you be the judge. The top "pros" are happy to offer advice in everything from axles, wheels, steer, weight placement, air shields, wheel weights, and nearly everything else, but ask them about D1 and just listen for the crickets.

Wow! That is interesting!! What I can gather from what you are saying with me being a new racer that wouldn't affect me. Sounds like it's an advantage for the top racers. I'm running BB and I was told that it's the fastest oil on the market. For me it's going to be exciting to build a car and mix it up with the pros eh.

Yes, TheFonze I have sent cars to MA. They should arrive tomorrow. Tuesday at the latest. It is my first time racing proxy, running anything larger than district, etc. It is really only mine and my daughters fourth race. I got a lot of encouragement and inspiration here on this forum. With a little help here from the TEAM I might actually get one more car off tomorrow. I have built a tribute car to my uncle recently passed and my father who died in 1995. It is titled Live Life and although a rush job it is a show stopper. I may not be able to pass the no wet paint rule, but it would mean a lot to members of my family to see it on the track, announced, etc. Not only would I love to attend MA some year(s) in the future, I would love to build a West America and see Joe or someone do an East America. Gotta get back to work! Didn't want you to think I was ignoring you or the question. And, if you are able to find out what class Zeeb is running other than Unlimited please let me know ASAP! Hello Eagle. Thank you for the reply. I'm sorry to hear about the passing of your uncle. It was nice of you to make a tribute car for him. What divisions are you racing in?

Are you saying those fellows have been known to lube each other up? Betcha they would even lube you up once or twice if you asked them... Me?... No way... I would rather just lose than bow down and ask Hurricrane to lube me. I’ve lost quite a few times and that doesn’t scre me at all! Hear that Hurricrane! I ain’t skeered!

I think B.B. is as fast if not faster than D1. I’ll have to do some isolated testing to know for sure. Plus there is the added bonus of the times not falling off as quickly.

I know BB is faster than anything I've tested, but I haven't had the chance to test D1, hopefully I can get some from Joe to test .
