Yaaaarrrr! Some interesting ideas here, Chuck. What’s the purpose of the gap keel? Ok ....so a couple things I'm trying to accomplish with the gap keel ...1. reduce void drag by minimizing the free area pulling in dirty air from between rails... 2. With a foil shape attempting to create a steering effect to the rail with the pressures that do exist.... 3. Lol...push dirty air away from the car a creating a speed portal dead ahead of the nose. ..the keel I feel could become a vital part of this design if I can get the functions working in practice and out of the theoretical. Hoping that I may have some wind tunnel testing after I get to my best time and sail stability. Any thoughts?
